Online School and Beyond

So hello all at home. Today is week like 3 and all is getting on more or less okay. Online school is pretty cool, much slower paced go-at-your-own-speed kind of deal. All my lessons are kind of “hey let's do like 6 classes one day. Then, you know, we're feeling nice, so like half of those lessons you can technically do tomorrow but it's probably better if you do it today then tomorrow you'll only have like two lessons.” There's no timer, no homework, you don't loose anything because you're at home. There's no locker transaction. Everything is done online, like essays and projects and Live Lessons (it's like Skype but with a slide show and no picture of yourself, and you don't actually talk you talk through the text box). And instead of homework there's an assessment or quiz or test at the end of every lesson. Then the score is entered onto the grade book. You're expected to take notes to remember everything, and all tests and stuff are run by the honor code.
So that's online school, Mom is making us do extracurricular activities, like swimming or drama or taekwando or something like that. It'll be easier once I get a bit of a better handle on online school and it goes a little faster, then it won't feel so, like, Oregon again, when we were rush rush rushing and we were doing everything one day and everything the next and then most everything on another then once in a while crashing from exhaustion.
So anyway we've got our house and our wifi and stuff like that. But there is one problem. The spiders. So the first couple nights, we saw like 12 million baby spiders. And it was like yeah, okay, just babies, but then on like the third night there was a huge spider in Mom and Dad's room.
Like take the circumference of your average cup. That big. Dad killed it and it was all okay. THEN we saw more baby spiders and we were like oh snap and then like literally two nights ago there was ANOTHER one. Bigger than the last one. Mom had to clean up the spidery remains cuz Dad is a little bit (a lot) sick and it was not good. We weren't allowed to talk about it for the rest of the night and the next day.

But you're all probably saying hey what's this about Kerry being sick? Dad is Toxic Man right now, he's diarrhea-ing really bad and he's barfing, too. Colleen and Mom have both had this, so now I'm the only one and it's coming afer me now. Mom jinxed it, too, because she said you're not gonna get sick and now the universe is like o rlly? and it's coming after me now. Thanks Mom.
Anyway that's all. So far it's been pretty uneventful these past few days. Keep sending me questions and I will try to answer them in my posts.
Abby Cakebread, signing off.
