KIDS TRIP 2014, SUNRIVER, DAY 2

KIDS TRIP 2014, SUN RIVER, DAY 2
Guest Blogger:  Jordan Thomas Gary

Today we started off waking up. Then Abby and Amy started to make some pancakes and sausage for breakfast. Amy is doing awesome with the pancakes. Then we see Abby. She didn’t have her glasses and she was cooking the sausage on the frying pan.
We tell her “Stop! The sausage is burning!”
Abby says “No, Its fine.”
“No Abby it’s burning. Take it off.” Amy says.
Once we all sat down at the table and we got our breakfast, we all ate our pancakes, but nobody really ate the sausage. But the pancakes were good, so that’s a plus!
After eating and cleaning up, we got ready for our day. We started our morning off with a bike ride. We rode our bikes for 3 hours just looking around Sun River. It was a nice bike ride, until our butts started to hurt. Some of us don’t have good seats as others. (cough cough, Mo, Colleen, and Amy)
While biking we stopped at Mavericks Center and went in to check out the wave pool. Then we saw rock climbing and we all wanted to do it, so we did. It was so fun! It was a little scary being up that high, but it felt good because you know you accomplished something.

Now that we got home, we had some Mac and Cheese that Abby cooked for us. Luckily she didn’t burn anything this time.
After lunch we decided to go to the SHARC outside pool. Once we got there Amy had to run back to the house because she forgot her phone. She gets back and we get registered and now we are free too go swim!!! It looked so fun and cool. The 1st thing we did when we got there was went on this log jump thing where you would have to jump and get on to the logs without falling. I was good at it. I didn’t fall once. But the others had a harder time on it and they didn’t like it as much as I did. Then the life guards start to say to all the people who were there to go inside because a thunderstorm was coming. So we only got to stay in the outdoor pool for 10 minutes. The good news is, they have an inside pool.

Now, the inside pool isn’t as cool as the outside, but it was still fun. We dived for the little diving squids for a while, then we all played volleyball. Even Amy did. That was so fun. I was on Amy, and abby’s team. And then there was Mo, colleen, and lessa on the other team. We totally beat them. But then we didn’t really keep count and just started to throw the ball for fun. Then we started to get tired, so we dried off and went home.

When we got home we talked about what we wanted for dinner. We picked Chicken and Rice. Now we are eating our yummy dinner and then we will probably just chillax. It was a very fun day. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow is like.
PS:  After dinner, the kids played Uno and went to get dessert.
